West Ham United target Luca Toni has vented his frustration at Bayern Munich boss Louis van Gaal. The Italy striker erupted after being left out of squad for Bayern's Champions League match against Juventus on Wednesday evening. The 32-year-old has made just a solitary appearance in the German Cup this season after suffering an achilles injury and he fears missing out on a place at next summer's World Cup if he can't get a game at club level. 'The coach has told me that he is not calling me up because he wants to wait for me to hit top form,' Toni told La Gazzetta dello Sport. 'I feel fine and I am really disappointed at missing out. I truly wanted people to have a look at me against Juventus. Van Gaal says I need to have a full game in my legs in order to get back into the side, so next Saturday (against Cologne) is also out of the question. 'He would like for me to play again for the reserve team.' Toni is open to a move to Upton Park in January, but the cash-strapped Hammers may struggle to meet his £60,000 a week wage demands. ]
