Hodgson ponders Hargreaves deal

Pay-as-you-play deal suggested Roy Hodgson is set to decide whether to give Owen Hargreaves a return to Premier League football. Albion are reportedly interested in signing the former Manchester United and England international on a pay-as-you-play contract after his release from Old Trafford. A deal would be attractive for both parties with Hargreaves looking for a new club and Hodgson still searching for a defensive midfielder after the club decided against signing David Vaughan. Hargreaves has had an injury-plagued spell in England since joining the Red Devils for £17 million in 2007 from Bayern Munich. He played only 39 times for United, but still helped them win the Champions League in 2008. Would you take a risk on signing Hargreaves? Have your say at Baggies Banter here.
