Andrew Strauss shortlisted for cricketer of the year award

After assuming the England captaincy in January, Strauss has enjoyed a wonderful run of form with the bat - scoring four centuries - and was England's man of the series against Australia. He also scored back-to-back centuries against India in Chennai last November, and has re-established himself as one of England's leading one-day players.
