Moore's Millers aiming high

27 April 2010 12:15
Boss Ronnie Moore is targeting two wins to finish the season in a good vein of form and hit the play-offs running. The Millers need just a point to secure a top seven finish and a win against Crewe on Saturday will guarantee at least fifth place and an away leg first up.However Moore is targeting maximum points from the weekend game and in the final bow at Hereford a week on Saturday to claim that fourth spot."We have just got to close our fingers around it now and it will be ours," said the Millers boss speaking to the Star."What we set out to do last Saturday (at Barnet) was win the game because we knew it would put us in a great position. Nothing is settled by any stretch but it is in the palm of our hand."The aim is to finish fourth. Can we do that and go on to make a Wembley appearance?"Moore concluded with a word for Bournemouth, who clinched the third automatic spot by beating Burton Albion. "They took their opportunity, we did not take ours when we had it. But good luck to them and let's hope we are playing them again next season."Welcome to MillersMadHere's our LATEST Messageboard topics MillersMAD are proud sponsors of Dale Tonges home kit.
