Player Details
Tom Taiwo is a tough tackling defensive midfielder currently playing for Carlisle United following three years at Chelsea as a youth and reserve team player. A brief loan spell at Port Vale in 2008 was unsuccessful but after arriving at Brunton Park on loan at the start of 2009-10, he signed permanently for the Cumbrians in the following January. An unspectacular 'engine room' type of player who gives 100 per cent, he was almost ever present for Carlisle in 2010-11 as an integral member of the United midfield formation.
