Stephen Dobbie is an attacking player who joined Swansea City during the 2009 close season. He found it difficult to win a regular place in the starting line-up in his first season at the club and again struggled in 2010-11 before finding his form in the crucial final games of the season. Stephen scored important goals to ensure that Swans? made the play-offs and the found the net in the semi final second leg victory over Nottingham Forest. He went on to play a big part in the play-off final putting the team 3-0 ahead on their way to victory over Reading and promotion to the Premier League. A hard working player he began his career at Rangers and subsequently had spells at Hibernian and St Johnstone. Stephen arrived at the Liberty Stadium, after two successful seasons at Queen of the South where he gained a Scottish Cup runners-up medal in the 2008 final at Hampden.
