Player Details

Matthew Parsons is a young left back who signed his first professional contract for Crystal Palace in April 2010 after developing as a scholar with the club. He went on to make his senior debut the following August when he came off the bench to replace Edgar Davids in the Carling Cup tie at Portsmouth and then added two Championship appearances early in the new year, when he showed himself to be a calm, assured defender. Matthew finished the campaign on loan at Barnet, assisting in the Bees successful campaign against relegation from League Two.
