Player Details
Martin Taylor is an experienced centre back who joined Watford from Birmingham City in January 2010. A commanding defender, he offers a solid, calm presence at the back. Martin had previously spent six seasons with Birmingham, where he was a member of two promotion-winning sides. He has been a regular following his arrival at Vicarage Road, forging an effective partnership with Adrian Mariappa in the centre of defence. Martin, who began his career as a trainee with Blackburn, is a former England U21 international.
