Player Details
Franco Di Santo is a striker who signed for Wigan Athletic at the end of August 2010. He is a tall player who works hard and links up well with his fellow front men Conor Sammon and Hugo Rodallega. Franco was a squad player in 2010-11 with many of his appearances coming from the bench as he settled into the team. He was previously at Chelsea but spent 2009-10 on a season-long loan at Blackburn Rovers. Franco has represented his native Argentina at U20 level.
