Player Details
David Mellor is a young midfield player who was a first-year scholar with Oldham Athletic in 2010-11. He spent his formative years with the Manchester United Academy before joining the Latics. David, who has also proved a more than able central defender for both the youth and reserve teams, broke into the senior squad in the closing weeks of the season, featuring on the bench on a couple of occasions, although he has yet to make his senior debut.
