Player Details

Big David Forde had another excellent season in goal for Millwall in which he kept 20 clean sheets in what can be regarded as a fairly successful return to the Championship for the Lions. For the third season running David was ever-present in the Football League and passed the legendary Alex Stepney's record of 137 successive games when he appeared against Barnsley in the final match of the 2010-11 season. The icing on the cake for David came when his hard work and dedication were rewarded when he gained full international honours for the Republic of Ireland against Northern Ireland and Italy, to become oldest player to be capped by his country since the Second World War.
