Harry Kane has repeated his desire to leave Tottenham - and the club are beginning to make enquiries about potential replacements.

Spurs will once again end the season without silverware and are likely to miss out on a place in the Champions League once more.

Kane has been heavily linked with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the last couple of months, and Sky Sports are reporting that Spurs may have already accepted that the striker will leave in the coming transfer window.

The club are making enquiries about replacement strikers, and while they do not wish to sell Kane, a number of teams have already sounded out their interest.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have all made contact with Kane's representatives over a possible move - and his preference is to remain in the Premier League.

Kane would like his future resolved before he heads off to Euro 2020 with England in June, which would leave only a few weeks for any side to get a deal done.

Sky Sports add that Spurs had successfully persuaded Kane to remain at the club last summer in the hope that Jose Mourinho's first full season was in charge would yield success and silverware. The Portuguese head coach was sacked after a disappointing campaign, with Kane's former teammate Ryan Mason now in caretaker charge.

Tottenham had hoped to appoint a new permanent manager before the end of the season, but they are yet to be strongly linked with even one candidate even a month after Mourinho's departure.

With just two games of the season remaining, Kane is on course to secure his third Premier League Golden Boot, which would tie him with Alan Shearer with the second-most in history. Thierry Henry leads the way with four.

Kane is also 95 goals shy of Shearer's Premier League record of 260 strikes, and his desire to remain in England could be linked with wanting to topple the Newcastle legend.
