PFA Players' Player of the Year awards - the nominees

02 June 2021 14:45

The final shortlists for the PFA Players’ Player of the Year awards have been revealed, with Manchester City dominating the men’s nominations, while City and Chelsea are the only clubs represented among the women’s nominees.

The shortlists for both PFA Young Player of the Year awards have also been confirmed.

These awards have been voted for by the players themselves and are often seen as more prestigious than other individual accolades, because the winners have commanded the respect of their fellow pros, rather than journalists or fans who vote on other prizes.

The Premier League and WSL teams of the year will be revealed on Friday 4 June, while the winners in each individual category will be announced on Sunday 6 June.
