Leicester City vs Chelsea Preview: How to Watch on TV, Live Stream, Kick Off Time & Team News

26 June 2020 15:39

Leicester City host Chelsea on Sunday afternoon for a place in the semi finals of the FA Cup.

The Foxes have yet to win a game since the Premier League resumed in June, but their record pre-break against big teams has left fans optimistic of success against the traditional elite in the cup.

Their opponents, however, have flown out of the blocks since English football returned, with two wins in as many games. An impressive victory at home to Manchester City on Thursday was the obvious highlight, but a sharp comeback against Aston Villa on the weekend showcased an impressive spine too.

Team News

Leicester have just the two long-term injuries, with right-back Ricardo Pereira (cruciate ligament) and Daniel Amartey (ankle) both sidelined for the foreseeable. Meanwhile, midfielder Dennis Praet has only just recovered from a calf problem and is a doubt to appear on Sunday.

The Blues have their own injury concerns ahead of their trip to the Midlands though. Centre-back Fikayo Tomori has been struggling with a muscular issue and will likely miss out, while Callum Hudson-Odoi is doubtful to play having missed the last two league games with an ankle knock.
