Leeds predicted lineup vs Crystal Palace - Premier League

23 April 2022 14:30

Leeds travel to Crystal Palace on Monday night hoping to maintain their run of strong Premier League form.

Jesse Marsch has overseen three wins and a draw in Leeds' last four, with the 3-0 win over Watford two weeks ago opening up some breathing space between the Whites and the relegation zone.

It's not job done yet though, as Leeds now need to build on the momentum they've generated in the final few weeks of the season. That will be easier said than done against a Crystal Palace side that, despite losing their last three in all competitions, have made great strides under Patrick Vieira.

Here's how Leeds could line up.

GK: Illan Meslier - The Frenchman may have only kept four clean sheets this term, but he has made a league-high 118 saves.

RB: Luke Ayling -
In what should be the same back four as last time, Ayling is set for a 19th successive Premier League start since recovering from a knee injury.

CB: Diego Llorente -
Has struggled to build consistency this campaign but is line for a third straight start.

CB: Liam Cooper -
Will surely skipper the side once more after impressing upon his return from injury.

LB: Stuart Dallas -
An ever-present in the Leeds side this term.

CM: Kalvin Phillips -
Could make a long-awaited return to the starting XI after managing cameos in his side's previous two.

CM: Mateusz Klich -
May be retained in the starting lineup instead of Robin Koch in order to provide Leeds with added nous going forward.

AM: Rodrigo - Has hit a purple patch of form to coincide with his team's upturn in results. Three goals in his last four Premier League appearances.

RW: Raphinha -
Ended a six-game drought to score his 10th league goal of the campaign against Watford last time out.

ST: Dan James -
Has been wasteful in front of goal for large parts of the season but his incessant scurrying around, ridiculous pace and collective mindset make him an ideal asset for this Leeds side.

LW: Jack Harrison -
An undoubted starter for Marsch's side, having scored in each of his last three outings.
