Tottenham return to Europa League action on Thursday night with a home fixture against Bulgarian outfit Ludogorets Razgrad.

Jose Mourinho's side went top of the Premier League thanks to their win over Manchester City on Saturday but still have work to do in Group J, with three teams currently perched on three points each.

Their most recent win in the competition came against Ludogorets, who have had a few positive Covid-19 tests to deal with in the build up to this game.

Toby Alderweireld Injury & Team News

Toby Alderweireld was substituted late on against Manchester City after suffering an adductor injury, with most assuming he was set for a lengthy period on the sidelines.

Mourinho confirmed the Belgian defender will be sidelined but for between two to four weeks, rather than months.

"He has a muscular injury but not as big as we initially thought. He will have his time to be out but not a month, which was immediately what we thought. I'd say between two and four weeks."

Matt Doherty is available again following his coronavirus diagnosis, but may not start as he builds up fitness. Mourinho confirmed Ben Davies will feature and added Joe Rodon may get his chances after Alderweireld's injury, though he's not eligible for Thursday.

Regarding Rodon, Mourinho added: "To play regularly in the Championship, I think it gives a player of quality a certain level of intensity and experience to allow players to be good players. We have Davinson for tomorrow night [Thursday] and then Davinson and Joe for Sunday."

Erik Lamela is unlikely to be available on Thursday or on Sunday against Chelsea.
