After months of speculation, Harry Kane has confirmed that he is set to stay at Tottenham Hotspur this season.
The England and Tottenham captain had been pushing for a move away from his boyhood club throughout the summer after a disappointing 2019/20 season for Tottenham.
Manchester City were the main suitors for his signature, seeing two bids knocked back by Spurs as they did not meet their (actually very fair) £150m valuation of their main man.
Now, Kane has confirmed, on his Twitter account, that he is set to stay at Spurs and is '100% focused' on helping the team enjoy a successful first season under the tutelage of Nuno Espirito Santo:
"It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I've had in the last few weeks.
"I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100% focused on helping the team achieve success."
