Brentford set-piece coach Keith Andrews is frontrunner for the vacant manager's job at Gtech Community Stadium.

Discussions are progressing well, but the club are taking their time in order to find the rigt man for the job.

The Bees have been looking for a new boss since Thomas Frank left for Tottenham earlier this month.

Andrews was appointed to Brentford's coaching staff last July, after being part of Sheffield United's backroom team.

If appointed, this would be the 44-year-old Irishman's first managerial role.
