Rivals After Butt
Blackpool and Preston are said to be after former Newcastle United star Nicky Butt. The Sunday Express claims the Seasiders are hoping to persuade the ex-Manchester United legend to return to the Premier League, with near neighbours Preston also said to be ready to offer a one year deal. The 35-year-old left Newcastle United at the end of last season and was thought to be interested in a move to Ipswich.
