VIDEO: Beckham insists asthma won't stop him playing for at the World Cup

David Beckham has revealed how he has lived with asthma throughout his career.[LNB]The England star's condition came to light when he was seen using an inhaler at half-time during the LA Galaxy's MLS Cup Final defeat by Real Salt Lake on Sunday.[LNB]But the 34-year-old veteran of 115 caps said he had lived with asthma since childhood, without letting it affect his progress with Manchester United, Real Madrid and AC Milan - as well the national team.[LNB] Top condition: David Beckham plays in the MLS Cup Final, during which he was pictured using an inhaler (below)[LNB]'I've got a slight case of asthma which I've had for years,' he told ITV News.[LNB]'It's never came out (until now) because I've had no reason to talk about it, but that's just me.'[LNB]He admitted that he always feels 'worn out' at the end of a the season, but didn't attribute this to his medical condition.[LNB]'You don't come to the end of the season and feel fresh because if you did there'd be something wrong with the effort you've given throughout that season.'[LNB]Playing things down, Beckham insisted having asthma should not affect his future, and he hopes to be part of Fabio Capello's England squad for the World Cup finals at high altitude in South Africa next summer.[LNB]'It should be fine,' he said.
