Last week everyone was a bit shocked as Bayern Munich left Portugal after losing 3-1 to Porto. Some of you probably had a very smug friend that told you he knew it was going to happen. “Don’t you know how good they are?” he said, knowing full well he’d only watched a few highlights on YouTube.
Well, now it’s your turn to be smug. Bayern Munich took only 26 minutes to score three goals against Porto, before adding a fourth in the 35th minute, and a fifth a few minutes later, to make it 6-3 on aggregate.
As expected. Lewandowksi makes it 4-3. Game over… Unless Porto wake up. Very unlikely. #BAYPOR

Porto aren’t out of it, completely. All they need is a goal to make things interesting, and they’re more than capable of getting it. They played very well at home to get themselves in a good position, and they won’t want all that good work to have been reversed inside half an hour at the Allianz Arena.
But, they are playing Bayern Munich, and the chances of having the moral to come back from conceding five first-half goals against them is quite slim.
That escalated quickly …. #BAYPOR

At the moment, Porto are only living up to the first syllable of their name. #BAYPOR #UCL

Love watching Guardiola teams when they play with intent. Muller's contribution there was stunning #BAYPOR

ffs Porto is a bigger bottler than Arsenal in the Champions League. #BAYPOR

But, they’re playing against one of the best teams, with one of the best managers, of the last 15 years. Porto have just learnt to never embarrass a Pep Guardiola team. Let’s pray they make it through the night.
