Name: Ahmed Al-Muhammadi

Age: 22

Club: Sunderland (On loan from ENPPI)

Al-Muhammadi began his football career back in 2003, joining the youth setup of Egyptian side Ghazl El-Mehalla. Just a year later he made his first team debut, going on to score four goals and make 17 appearances before moving to ENPPI in 2006.

He quickly established his position in the starting XI, regularly starting in his preferred right wing-back role.

Al-Muhammadi was given his first call-up to the senior Egyptian national side three years ago and has since made 38 appearances, scoring once.

His impressive form for both club and country, combined with a natural ability to play anywhere down the right-hand-side of the pitch, has helped win him a number of admirers in recent times.

Moves to Hertha Berlin, Blackburn Rovers and West Bromnwich Albion have all fallen through over the past couple of years, but last month Sunderland swooped to bring him to the Stadium of Light on a season long loan.

Nicknamed the Egyptian David Beckham, Al-Muhammadi's energy and work-rate should help him adapt perfectly to the Premier League
