However, it was last season at Lille where he truly made his name for the Elite European Clubs. At Lille, Hazard became only the second player to win the Ligue 1 Player of The Season award two years in a row. He is also the first non-french player to win the award, as well as the youngest.
With 20 goals an 15 assists for Lille this season and at just the age of 21, there was no surprise Hazard was sought after by all the Elite Clubs around Europe.
