So who are the 'Top 10 Midfielders of 2012'?

I'm sure we all have our own preferences, our own star midfield maestro as well as that hard tackling midfield ball-winner who helps our teams win the game.

The list I've put together is based upon mainly the 2011/2012 season, achievements for club and country, how well they perform in their particular role and what they bring to their own respected team. And of course a bit of own personal preference!

Whether they're an attacking midfielder, a ball winner, or the engine-like box to box midfielder who transforms defence to attack in a matter of seconds. Every midfielder in this list has his own right to claim a spot.
