Leeds United director of football Victor Orta has confirmed that Raphinha does not have a release clause in his contract if the team avoid the drop from the Premier League.
The Brazilian has taken the Premier League by storm since arriving from Rennes in the summer of 2020, managing nine goals this season despite his team struggling at the foot of the table.
His form has seen him linked with a host of top clubs. As reported by 90min, West Ham tested Leeds' resolve in January while Liverpool, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich have shown their interest in the past.
Despite this speculation, the club remain relaxed about keeping Raphinha beyond the summer, provided they can secure Premier League survival.
Should they beat the drop, anyone wishing to sign the forward would not have the luxury of triggering any release clause. Some have claimed the existence of a €75m clause, but Orta dismissed that in a recent interview with Marca.
"Everything that is in the future will come. Raphinha does not have a clause if we stay in the Premier League, by the way," he said
"In that sense the player and I have looked each other in the face and, with the help of those around him, we have said now there is only one goal and that is to save Leeds United.
"Come summer, when the time comes, there will be time for everything."
Leeds are set for a testing transfer window with Kalvin Phillips also attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle.
However, much like with Raphinha, 90min understands that the Whites are confident of keeping him at Elland Road.
