Woah, that was a long international break, wasn't it? At least it's over now, so we can get back to life in The Best League in the World™.
There were a shed load of fascinating narratives bubbling away before international fixtures got in the way, and there are plenty of intriguing games in store for us this weekend.
Here is everything you need to know ahead of gameweek eight in the Premier League...
Saturday
Watford vs Liverpool
When is kick off? Saturday 16 October, 12:30 (BST)
Where is the game being played? Vicarage Road
TV Channel/Live Stream? BT Sport (UK) fuboTV (US)
Highlights? BT Sport YouTube Channel (UK), Match of the Day (BBC - UK)
Referee? Jon Moss
Var? Stuart Attwell
The Claudio Ranieri era at Vicarage Road could not be getting off to a tougher start with Liverpool travelling to Hertfordshire for the Saturday lunchtime kick off.
Even with Fabinho and Alisson both missing for the visitors due to international duty complications, and Diogo Jota and Thiago Alcantara out through injury, the Reds should still get the three points without too much difficulty.
So much for that new manager bounce...
Prediction: Watford 1-2 Liverpool

Southampton vs Leeds United
What time is kick off? Saturday 16 October, 15:00 (BST)
Where is it being played? St Mary's Stadium

Highlights? Sky Sports YouTube channel (UK - 17.15), Match of the Day - BBC (UK)
Referee? David Coote
VAR? Lee Mason
Southampton and Leeds will both be desperate for three points when they meet at St Mary's this weekend.
Each side has made a mixed start to the campaign and although it is early days, neither will want to be dragged into a relegation battle.
Marcelo Bielsa and Ralph Hasenhuttl are two of the most fascinating tacticians in the Premier League and this should be an open game. We are backing the Whites to edge it, though.
Prediction: Southampton 1-2 Leeds

Norwich City vs Brighton
When is kick off? Saturday 16 October, 15:00 (BST)
Where is the match being played? Carrow Road

Highlights? Sky Sports YouTube channel (UK - 17.15), Match of the Day - BBC (UK)
Referee? Peter Bankes
VAR? Graham Scott
Poor old Norwich City, ay? With just one point from seven Premier League games so far, some people are already condemning the Canaries to relegation.
Things do not get much easier on Saturday when high-flying Brighton come to town.
The Seagulls have only been beaten once this season and currently sit just two points off leaders Chelsea. As much as we'd like to witness nice-guy Daniel Farke get his first win, we just cannot see it happening.
Prediction: Norwich 0-2 Brighton

Aston Villa vs Wolves
When is kick off? Saturday 16 October, 15:00 (BST)
Where is the match being played? Villa Park
TV channel/live stream? Final Score - BBC (UK), Soccer Saturday - Sky Sports (UK),fuboTV (US)
Highlights? Sky Sports YouTube channel (UK - 17.15), Match of the Day - BBC (UK)
Referee? Michael Oliver
VAR? Jarred Gillett
Villa Park will be rocking at 3pm this Saturday as Midlands rivals Wolves make the short trip to Dean Smith's charges.
The two teams come into this one separated by a single point with Bruno Lage's side recovering from a shaky start commendably in recent weeks.
On this occasion Villa should have just enough to win, in front of what is bound to be a raucous home crowd.
Prediction: Aston Villa 2-1 Wolves

Leicester City vs Manchester United
What time is kick off? Saturday 16 October, 15:00 (BST)
Where is it being played? King Power Stadium
TV channel? Final Score - BBC (UK), Soccer Saturday - Sky Sports (UK), fuboTV (US)
Highlights? Sky Sports YouTube channel (UK - 17.15), Match of the Day - BBC (UK)
Referee? Craig Pawson
VAR? Eddie Smart
The pressure is on Manchester United to get a result at the King Power Stadium after they won just once in four games leading up to the international break.
Their recent record against Leicester is not the best but Brendan Rodgers' side have looked far from their usual selves this season, particularly at the back.
United aren't the best defensively either, so expect to see plenty of goals in this one.
Prediction: Leicester 2-3 Man Utd

Manchester City vs Burnley
When is kick off? Saturday 16 October, 15:00 (BST)
Where is the match being played? Etihad Stadium
TV channel? Final Score (UK), Soccer Saturday - Sky Sports (UK), fuboTV (US), DAZN (Canada)
Highlights? Sky Sports YouTube channel (UK), Match of the Day - BBC (UK)
Who's the referee? Martin Atkinson
Who's the VAR? Andre Marriner
Manchester City hosting Burnley is only ever going to go one way - a huge home win.
The last two times Sean Dyche's men have travelled to the Etihad Stadium, City subjected them to a pair of 5-0 defeats.
Don't expect much to change this time around. However, as we were feeling charitable, we've only backed the Cityzens to smash four past Burnley on Saturday.
Prediction: Man City 4-0 Burnley

Brentford vs Chelsea
When is kick off? Saturday 16 October, 17:30 (BST)
Where is the match being played? Brentford Community Stadium
What TV channel is it on? Sky Sports (UK), UNIVERSO (US), DAZN (Canada)
Highlights? Sky Sports YouTube channel (UK), Match of the Day - BBC (UK)
Referee? Anthony Taylor
VAR? Paul Tierney
Brentford and Chelsea have not met in a league fixture since 1947 - a game the Blues won 2-0 by the way, thanks to goals from Alex Machin and Johnny Paton.
Since then, football has changed quite a bit. These days, Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku earns more per week than the entire Brentford playing squad combined.
With that in mind, of course the visitors are favourites - but do not expect Thomas Frank's massively-effective side to take the defeat lying down.
Prediction: Brentford 1-2 Chelsea

Sunday
Everton vs West Ham
When is kick off? Sunday 17 October, 14:00 (BST)
Where is the match being played? Goodison Park
What TV channel is it on? Sky Sports (UK), UNIVERSO (US), DAZN (Canada)
Highlights? Sky Sports YouTube channel (UK), Match of the Day 2 - BBC (UK)
Referee? Stuart Attwell
VAR? Paul Tierney
Ah yes, the David Moyes derby - how we've missed you.
Everton and West Ham both have aspirations to break into the top six this season and they have each made encouraging starts to the campaign.
On paper there is very little to chose between the pair, and we think this closeness will be reflected in the scoreline too.
Prediction: Everton 2-2 West Ham
Newcastle vs Tottenham
When is kick off? Sunday 17 October, 16:30 (BST)
Where is the match being played? St James' Park
What TV channel is it on? Sky Sports (UK), UNIVERSO (US), DAZN (Canada)
Highlights? Sky Sports YouTube channel (UK), Match of the Day 2 - BBC (UK)
Referee? Andre Marriner
VAR? Chris Kavanagh
After a week of speculation we have finally had it confirmed that Steve Bruce will be in the dugout for Newcastle's Premier League meeting with Tottenham this weekend.
Will it be his last game in charge of the Magpies? Probably, yes.
Will he go out with a bang? If the football he has pursued over the past few seasons is any indication, no, probably not.
Prediction: Newcastle 0-1 Tottenham

Monday
Arsenal vs Crystal Palace
When is kick off? Monday 18 October, 20:00 (BST)
Where is the match being played? Emirates Stadium
What TV channel is it on? Sky Sports (UK), UNIVERSO (US), DAZN (Canada)
Highlights? Sky Sports YouTube channel (UK)
Referee? Mike Dean
VAR? Peter Bankes
Patrick Vieira will be relishing a return to the club he captained for many years as a player on Monday night - even if Arsenal centre-back Ben White recently confessed to barely knowing who he is...
Despite Vieira not being backed to do much at Selhurst Park, the early signs have been very promising.
His brave young side have nothing to fear in north London and should be targeting a very credible away point.
Prediction: Arsenal 1-1 Crystal Palace
