Brentford are optimistic that the prospect of regular first-team football will aid them in their pursuit of Hull City winger Keane Lewis-Potter, 90min understands.
The Bees have a long-standing interest in the 21-year-old and had hoped to land him in the January transfer window earlier this year, but were unable to agree terms with the Tigers.
90min reported earlier in May that Brentford were hopeful of signing Lewis-Potter this summer and they are growing in confidence that the offer of regular football will help them in their pursuit.
Thomas Frank switched from a 3-5-2 formation to a 4-3-3 in the second half of Brentford's successful 2021/22 season, but the only natural wide men in his squad were Bryan Mbeumo, Yoane Wissa and Sergi Canos - the latter of which played most of the campaign at wing-back.
West Ham United, who signed Jarrod Bowen from Hull in 2020, are also keen on Lewis-Potter, but would not be able to offer him the same assurances as Brentford regarding playing time.
Several other Premier League sides, including Brighton, Bournemouth, Southampton and Wolves, are keeping tabs on the situation.

Hull owner Acun Ilıcalı, who completed his takeover of the club in January, recently confirmed that the Tigers have indeed received 'big offers' for Lewis-Potter, but insisted that he wants to keep the England Under-21 international.
"Keane is like God’s gift to us," he said. "He has extreme potential. He is going to be one of the biggest stars of the future.
"Of course, we have big offers for him. If I had any interest in making any money, there cannot be a better deal than that. You buy a football club and you sell the left winger and you make enough money to make all the transfers.
"But I reject all of these. Even if they offer £30m to me, I will not sell him because I think his presence is much more important than anything for this club at the moment. He will be so useful for our team and our fans that I will not lose him."
