Manchester United are one of several top European clubs chasing Kacper Kozlowski, but Borussia Dortmund are in pole position to sign the youngster.

Kozlowski recently became the youngest player in European Championship history when he came on as a substitute during Poland's 1-1 draw with Spain. He broke the record set by England's Jude Bellingham just a handful of days prior.

Currently plying his trade for Polish minnows Pogon Szczecin, Kozlowski was selected for 90min's Our 21 series before the tournament began. Although his involvement at Euro 2020 has been limited, he is still attracting interest from across the continent.

As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness), United are keen on signing the talented midfielder, who has been dubbed the 'Polish Paul Pogba'. The Red Devils have previous for mopping up the best young talent around, securing a deal for Atalanta starlet Amad Diallo back in October 2020.

They will face stiff competition to sign Kozlowski, though. Barcelona are another team interested. The Blaugrana have also tended to recruit young in recent times and Kozlowski fits the bill perfectly. Elsewhere, the likes of Juventus, as well as smaller sides Cagliari and Feyenoord, have been credited with an interest.

However, leading the way in the race for the wonderkid is Borussia Dortmund. BVB have been tracking Kozlowski for some time, using the same scouting network that uncovered Robert Lewandowski some years ago.

Dortmund also have a superb reputation for developing young talent. In recent times Jadon Sancho, Jude Bellingham and Giovanni Reyna have all been handed significant playing time despite their tender years.

It is only a matter of time before Kozlowski departs Pogon Szczecin and as the player has two years left to run on his deal they will be confident of securing a significant fee for his services this summer.
