Goal

FULHAM 2-0 SPURS. Jimmy Bullard's corner is flicked on by Clint Dempsey to Andy JOHNSON who smashes the ball into the Spurs goal, this is surely Fulham's game now.

65

Gomes makes a smart save from Bullard's driving shot.

61

King hits a volley just over the Fulham bar after a fine cross from Lennon.

60

No sign of an equalier for Spurs and it looks like Harry Redknapp's honeymoon period could be over, still time though.

59

Fulham call for a penalty after King appeared to handle the ball but referee Alan Wiley waves play on.

57

Davies hits a nice striker from distance that produces a fine save from Gomes, Fulham on top by a long way and its mainly due to Davies and Danny Murphy - two former Spurs players.

55

Zamora fires a shot straight at Gomes, he had Dabies open and that would have been the better option but I suppose all strikers need to be a bit greedy sometimes, this just wasn't one of them.

54

Bale takes a free kick for Spurs but its straight at the Fulham wall.

53

Gomes gathers comfortably from Zamora's header.

52

Jimmy Bullar hits a free kick for Fulham, Gomes does well to save but he parries it straight to the feet of Andy Johnson who can't control it and misses from close range.

50

Ledley King does well to outmuscle Zamora, Fulham are getting back into this now and they won't give this lead up easily.

49

Bentley's cross just goes over Bent's head, Spurs giving a far better account of themselves than in the first half.

48

Spurs again pressing, Lennon trying to make an immediate impact with some darting runs but he hasn't found a wau through just yet.

47

Spurs already look a better side, could see them coming back and taking the game to Fulham in this second period.

46
Substitution

Huddlestone is replaced by Lennon at half-time.

Second half

Fulham get the second half underway, they'll be more than happy with their first half performance while Spurs will be rueing that Gomes mistake.

Half time

Half-Time: FULHAM 1-0 SPURS.

43

Johnson and Zamora link up well to win Fulham a corner. Gomes again looks flustered as the cross comes in but Corluka clears well for Spurs.

41

The game has gone a bit scrappy now, neither side managing to take control of the game as half time approaches.

38

To be fair to Spurs they haven't let the goal rattle them and they're still testing the Fulham defence, Jenas nearly got through but Hughes was there to cover.

36

Gomes again fluffs a Davies cross, this could be one of the worst goalkeeping performances in the history of the Premiership.

35
Goal

FULHAM 1-0 SPURS. Simon DAVIES scores a bizarre goal. His shot looked so tame but it somehow bobbled and beat Gomes in the Spurs goal, abismal goalkeeping.

30

Bentley comes close after Modric played him in, then Bent couldn't control a Huddlestone pass that would have surely seen him score.

26

Modric hits a sweet effort from 25 yards but its just wide. Tottenham getting back into this now and Redknapp has already been going crazy on the touchline.

23

Bentley tries to be a bit too clever after being set up by Modric, he tried a chipped shot but Schwarzer read it and caught easily.

21

Huddlestone makes a couple of important clearances for Spurs as Fulham dominate this game.

20

Zamora lays the ball down to Andy Johnson who really should score but he blasts his shot over the Spurs crossbar.

18

Panstil does well to close down Modric as the Spurs midfielder tried to break.

15
Yellow Card

Bobby Zamora goes into the book as he tried to handle the ball into the Spurs goal.

13

Dempsey hits a cracking shot but Gomes makes a brilliant save to deny the American.

12

Fulham looking the brighter side now, Andy Johnson just supplied Murphy with a nice cross but his shot is blocked by Corluka.

10

Spurs win a corner, but Hangeland rises highest to clear for Fulham.

8

Gomes looks shaky as he fails to deal with a cross that should have been so easy, he's dodgy in the Spurs goal and Fulham might want to just keep hitting crosses at him.

7

Huddleston has hit a few long passes towards Bent but they've come to nothing at all so far, at the other end Andy Johnson looks sharp for Fulham but nothings come for him either as yet.

5

Spurs still looking lively, Modric trying to get into the game but just not found his way through yet.

4

Smart move from Bullard down the right for Fulham but no one really supporting him.

3

No attempts as yet for either side, Spurs started the better of the two though and look very confident.
