Moyes believes in Goodison grand plan as Everton eye perfect end of term

David Moyes is confident his long-term blueprint for success at Everton remains bang on course. The Scot saw his team climb into fifth place in the Barclays Premier League to put the pressure firmly on Aston Villa with yesterday's 2-0 win at Sunderland having already secured European qualification and a trip to Wembley for the FA Cup final at the end of the month. That they have achieved all that with key players missing - the likes of Mikel Arteta and Ayegbeni Yakubu were joined on the sidelines by Phil Jagielka last week - is testament to the spirit fostered by a manager who was recently described by chairmanBill Kenwright as the best in the world. But despite all the accolades deservedly coming his way, Moyes admits he has only been able to build the solid foundation which is now paying dividends because he has been given the time to do his job. He said: 'We are probably doing what I hoped we would do, but I have been here seven years now. A lot of managers don't get that opportunity to do seven years.
