Aldershot striker Marvin Morgan tops Gillingham's manager Andy Hessenthaler's transfer wish list.
The Gills boss has confirmed his interest in signing the 27-year-old, as he looks to find a replacement for Simeon Jackson who joined Norwich last week.
Hessenthaler is in the market for a big target man who has a good record in League Two football and Morgan fits the description following his 15 league goals for Aldershot last season.
Speaking to Kent News, Hessenthaler said: "I want two strikers who can score goals and I think we perhaps need a physical one in this division. I think we've got to try and go and sign someone who's scored 17-20 goals in this division.
"There are players out there who can do that and are available, but I think you'll have to pay a bit of money for them.
"[Morgan] would come into that category but he's Aldershot's player. It has been documented they would want a fee for him, but he is one I've spoken about."
