Scott saw his side outclass relegated Luton on the final day of the season to cruise to a comfortable 2-0 win before the Bees were presented with the League Two trophy at Griffin Park.
"I thought it was a testament to the professionalism of my players that they came out and did such a professional job, but then that's what they've done all season," said Scott.
"Now we have to look at the squad and I'll take a couple of days off before deciding what needs to be done. Once I've got my squad in place for next season then I might take a small holiday.
"But right now I want Brentford fans to know that we are going to be looking to build a side which can challenge for the Championship.
"It was wonderful to see all the players who played their part back at the ground to get their medals. I hope they savour it and keep it in their memories and try to emulate it again next season."
