Turner hails Tigers spirit

Michael Turner insists spirit within the Hull City camp is as high as ever as they look to stay in the top flight. The Tigers have been sucked into a relegation fight following an abysmal run of just one win in their last 18 games. City have got four games to survive and travel to Aston Villa on Monday in search of a result to halt their slide down the Premier League table, and Turner insists the players are in buoyant mood."Spirits are good, but they always have been, even though it's been such a bad run," he said. "Everyone's working hard to try to get away from the bottom three."We've got four massive games. We know it is in our hands and if we win the games required we will stay up."Villa Park is somewhere I have always wanted to play - it has been a dream playing against some of the best teams in the world and at the best stadiums and I want to be here for a long time."The Tigers have lost their last three games but believe they can build on recent promising performances in which they have conceded goals at crucial times."We have done well in games but have given away goals at crucial times, especially in the last two games, just before half-time," said Turner. "Hopefully we can stop that and build on 0-0s at half-time."
