Clohessy confirmed as Shrimpers signing

Southend have signed Sean Clohessy on a pre-contract agreement. The 23-year-old defender arrives at Roots Hall following two seasons with Salisbury, where he played under the Shrimpers` current assistant manager Tommy Widdrington. The move can be finalised once the transfer embargo currently imposed on the League Two club has been lifted.
