Gomez claims Swans fans' award

The 23-year-old Espanyol playmaker, who the Swans are hoping to sign permanently at the end of the season, was recognised by the club's fans after scoring 14 goals this season.Winger Leon Britton was awarded the player's player award while 19-year-old midfielder Joe Allen won the young player's prize.Long-term injury victim Marcos Painter was named as clubman of the year and Ferrie Bodde's strike at Preston was chosen as goal of the season.
