Administrator cautious for Saints

Mark Fry has revealed a number of 'serious' parties have begun due diligence on the Saints' holding company, but with the club being in League One, Fry is remaining concerned. "The situation is fluid," he said. "I'd like to remain confident that the club can be sold before we get right to the wire, but at the same time I do not want to get peoples' hopes up. "With the end of the season fast approaching, the timescales involved in the hunt for a buyer remain tight. We are in dialogue with several prospective purchasers, who are all looking to take the club forward. "We naturally hope that a sale will be achieved, but there is always the danger that none of the interested parties will make an offer. "The club's relegation to League One is likely to have an impact on potential buyers and the value that they place on the business," Fry added.
