Diawara happy at Bordeaux

Souleymane Diawara claims it would take a 'very good offer' to persuade him to leave Bordeaux in the summer. Former Charlton Athletic defender Diawara has been linked with a return to the Premier League, with reports suggesting Fulham and Newcastle United have shown an interest. The Senegal stopper joined Bordeaux from Charlton in 2007 and has two years remaining on his contract with the Ligue 1 title hopefuls.Reports claim Fulham boss Roy Hodgson sees Diawara as a potential replacement for Brede Hangeland, should the Norwegian leave Craven Cottage. However, with Bordeaux pushing for the title and UEFA Champions League qualification, Diawara concedes he would take some convincing to leave his current club."My contract at Bordeaux runs until 2011," Diawara told skysports.com. "To play in the Premier League would be fantastic."I heard that Newcastle and Fulham are interested, however I am at Bordeaux and we are going for the title here."I might play in the Champions League next season, so for me to move from Bordeaux, it would have to be a very good offer."
