Lawrence lusts after promotion

Lawrence suggested securing a play-off place next season would be a challenge, with the prospect of Southampton, Charlton and possibly Norwich all coming down into League One.But he believes his club is making the required progress and, with luck, could gain promotion."I think Bristol Rovers can sustain Championship football in the future and we will get there in the end," Lawrence told the Evening Post."But it will need patience and tolerance - and key players to stay injury-free for virtually the whole season."We have made progress in the last two seasons in League One and next season we have to do it again and kick on."
