Saints, who are desperately searching for a buyer amid fears the club will go bust within weeks, are to appeal the 10-point penalty handed down by the Football League after their holding company went into administration. But the Football Association are now waiting on the report of referee Mike Jones after a large section of Saints fans spilled onto the pitch and confronted the travelling supporters, with a flare and plastic bottles being thrown.Joint-administrator Mark Fry said: "Our main concern at the moment has to be the appeal."As far as the pitch invasion is concerned, I am not condoning it but after the announcement on Thursday of the points deduction, emotions were bound to be running high."I just hope they don't punish us for that as well because the club has to find a buyer and any further threat of punishment will not help us to do that."
