Hill pleased with Dale changes

Dale had looked off the pace when Tom Craddock's 32nd-minute penalty had the Hatters a goal up at the break. But a double replacement at the interval paid dividends as Joe Thompson crossed for fellow substitute Rundle to fire home the equaliser from close range after 55 minutes to secure a 1-1 draw.Hill said: "We watched Luton on Tuesday and thought we had a plan for their shape but then they went and changed it for today! We had to make a sacrifice and made the two substitutions at half-time and we looked a lot more comfortable with two natural wide men."I don't think we played particularly well in the first half, but Luton did well keeping the ball and having the lion's share of possession. It was difficult and the system we set out with wasn't working, so we changed it around at the break."It was the longest game of my short managerial history but we're really pleased to come away with the point we needed to get in the play-offs."
