United sneak win

Trialist Nick Wood helped Carlisle to a 1-0 pre-season friendly win over Workington tonight. The clash between the two local rivals looked set to end in a draw until Wood nodded home with two minutes to go. Carlisle's next friendly clash is against Premier League Newcastle on Saturday.
