Leeds boss hopes to retain Sodje

The 29-year-old defender has played a key role in Leeds securing a play-off place since moving on loan in March and had his deal at Elland Road extended until the end of May on Thursday. But Reading boss Steve Coppell inserted a 24-hour recall clause for the Nigerian and Grayson is crossing his fingers that he does not choose to activate it."We've exercised the the right to extend his loan," Grayson told the Yorkshire Evening Post. "The only thing Reading have now is a 24-hour recall, which most clubs do in a standard loan."We're hopeful that Reading don't have any injuries or suspensions while their season is going on, and I'm glad that they've allowed us to do this."
