Bosingwa gets Messi role

Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has revealed that Jose Boswinga is set to mark Barcelona star Lionel Messi in their UEFA Champions League semi-final first-leg. Ashley Cole is suspended for the clash at Camp Nou on Tuesday and with Paulo Ferreira out injured, Hiddink has few options for the left-back role.Hiddink was toying with the idea of playing youngster Michael Mancienne against Barca, but he has now confirmed that Portuguese ace Bosingwa is set to be handed the role."Everyone knows we don't have a natural replacement for the left-back position so we have to improvise," said Hiddink."So Bosingwa will start there, although he doesn't know that yet."I decided Bosingwa would play the moment Ashley was booked in the quarter-final against Liverpool."You have to deliver an option."Whoever plays against Messi has a tremendously difficult job to do. Messi is one of the most productive players in the world when he's performing."But we've practised a few days with Bosingwa in the left-back spot."
