Diop delighted with AEK switch

Senegal midfielder Papa Bouba Diop has expressed his satisfaction after completing his move to AEK Athens from Portsmouth. Bouba Diop had been expected to leave Fratton Park following Pompey's relegation from the Premier League and the club's financial situation.Portsmouth had been hoping to secure a £820,000 fee for the 32-year-old, but the exact price has not been disclosed.Diop has signed a two-year contract with AEK and is looking forward to the prospect of playing in Greek football."I am satisfied with the outcome of my transfer," said Diop.
