Phillips getting the Blues at City

City are currently second in the Championship and will book their return to the Premier League if they beat Preston this Saturday. But Phillips has described his season as disappointing, telling BBC West Midlands: "The last two or three months have been very frustrating for me. I haven't played anywhere near the amount of football that I want to, for whatever reason I don't know."I'm sitting top goalscorer but on 13 goals, and for me that's not good enough. I haven't played as many games as I'd like to."But Phillips, 35, will not be taking his grievances to manager Alex McLeish until the end of the season."I'm just trying to help Birmingham gain promotion to the Premier League, so let's get this season out of the way, maybe have a long chat with the gaffer in the summer, and just see what his thoughts and plans are with me for next year, and we'll go from there."
