I feel good, says fit-again Kranjcar

Tottenham midfielder Niko Kranjcar has declared himself fit and raring to go for the new season after recovering from ankle surgery. The Croatia international picked up an injury in the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Portsmouth in April and missed the end of last season. An operation was required but Kranjcar is now back in training with the other Spurs players who were not involved at the World Cup.He is happy with the progress he has made and feels confident about being in peak condition for the start of the new campaign."I feel really good," Kranjcar said in the Daily Star. "I'm more or less back to doing everything."I've been working hard to get the ankle back to good health and hopefully I'll benefit from a longer pre-season than usual."Tottenham face Manchester City on August 14 in their Premier League opener, while they will also play a UEFA Champions League qualifier a few days later.
