Shakers sign Blackburn's Howarth

ury manager Alan Knill has completed the free-transfer signing of winger Andrew Howarth from Premier League neighbours Blackburn Rovers. The 21-year-old, who can operate on either flank, has signed a two-year contract at Gigg Lane.Howarth made two appearances for Rovers, both against Sunderland in the Carling Cup and the FA Cup.He has also had loan spells with Gateshead and at Rochdale, where he spent six months last season making seven appearances.
