Robinho offered to Valencia - Report

Manchester City are reported to be offering Brazil international Robinho to Valencia on a season-long loan deal. The City forward spent the second half of last season back in his homeland on loan at Santos and did enough to ensure he stayed in Brazil's squad for the World Cup.The former Real Madrid star impressed in South Africa, scoring twice before Brazil were knocked out in the quarter-finals, but City are unconvinced he can reproduce that form back in England after falling out of favour at Eastlands in the first half of last season.City chief executive Garry Cook is thought to be touting round the £32.5million misfit but the Blues are struggling to offload the striker permanently so he is available on a short-term deal to any club willing to pay part of his £150,000-a-week wages. The 26-year-old is back in training with Santos, where his loan deal expires on August 4, and although they cannot afford to sign him permanently, their president Luis Alvaro Ribeiro is hoping to extend his stay for next season's Copa Libertadores campaign."We will make an offer to City to try and keep Robinho for another year," he said."There is not a problem financially."However, Valencia may be a better option as City have recently struck a deal with the Spanish club to sign winger David Silva to City in a big-money move.
