Woodgate unfazed by snub

Tottenham defender Jonathan Woodgate accepts that his international career with England may be over. The 29-year-old has won eight caps for his country over the course of an injury-ravaged career. He made his debut for the Three Lions a decade ago, but has seen persistent problems prevent him from accumulating an appearance total worthy of his undoubted talent.Ironically, the 2008/09 campaign has been one of the centre-half's most productive in recent times, but he has failed to force his way into Fabio Capello's plans. He is yet to receive a call-up this term and has seen the likes of Joleon Lescott and Phil Jagielka overtake him in the pecking order.Woodgate insists his ongoing omission from the squad is giving him little cause for concern and admits he does not expect to be called upon any time soon."I'm not really," he said."It's now just about the way I'm playing for Spurs. That's enough for me."I just want to win things. We know we have a good squad here."
