Heskey concedes top-four place

Emile Heskey concedes that it is going to be hard for Aston Villa to finish in the top four this season. The 31-year-old joined the club from Wigan in January for £3.5million with the club sitting fourth, three points above Arsenal and just three points behind leaders Manchester United. But after picking up just three points from a possible 24, Villa have seen their hopes of qualifying for next season's UEFA Champions League collapse before their eyes. After Saturday's 1-1 home draw with West Ham, Martin O'Neill's men find themselves seven points behind the fourth-placed Gunners having played a game more."It is hard for all of us. We have to turn it around," the England international told The Sun.Positive"There were so many highs this season, there were bound to be a few lows. I am still happy I am here and I want to do well for Villa."It is going to be hard to get into the Champions League this season but this can be like a stepping stone."This club is trying to break into that top four and hopefully we can do it."
